    PRE-FALL 2020

In celebration of the Japanese four seasons and the “Yamato Iro,” this collection was designed with the intention of offering seasonless pieces that can be dressed up or dressed down to fit the various lifestyles of today’s modern women

  • The Four Seasons

The beauty of Japan’s natural landscape can be expressed through the distinct four seasons – spring, summer, fall and winter. The aesthetic changes in nature, such as cherry blossoms in the springtime or the foliage of Momiji leaves in the fall, are one of the most fascinating sights in Japan.

  • Yamato Iro Colors

As a result of the beautiful nature, the Japanese have long developed their own color palette known as “Yamato Iro.” There are over 400 colors, all of which are inspired by flowers or plants that are native to Japan. The colors in the collection are taken from the traditional palette - the pale orange, “Koji Iro,” inspired by a Japanese citrus; the fuchsia pink, “Tsutsuji Iro,” taken from the azalea flower; the light green, “Matcha Iro,” from green tea leaves, and the bright blue,“Ruri Iro,” inspired by the color of the Lapis Lazuli stone.
